Hello everybody,

Just a quick product recommendation here. On many of my client builds, I like to dose for alk/cal supplementation instead of using a calcium reactor. It’s just personal preference. I like to custom make my dosing containers from parts I can get online from US Plastics. Click here to check them out => www.usplastics.com

In another post, I’ll go into the containers I like plus the other DIY things that I incorporate into them. This post is about the quick disconnect fittings that I like to use. I use quick disconnect fittings so I can easily remove the containers from their location and fill them by a sink or other appropriate place in order to not make a mess.

They are called SnapQuik and I like them because they contain no metal pieces. The body is made from Acetyl and the o-ring is made from Buna-N. They come in 3/32″ or 1/8″. Silicone aquarium tubing, the type that will work with most, if not all dosers, is 1/8″.

Thanks and let me know if this helps you or if you know of anything better.
